Dear UCCS Families,
I previously communicated to families that Urban Choice Charter School’s confirmed bell schedule (hours of the school day) is 9:30am – 4:30pm. RCSD had to tier all their school’s start and end time, so the charter schools were also tiered.
If you have received a transportation letter with pick-up and drop-off times, those times will shift by an hour to account for our new bell schedule. I was informed new transportation letters were sent out this morning. You can always call the school and verify your student’s transportation, as well.
The first day of school for Urban Choice will now be Thursday, September 9, 2021. This change is due to the fact that RCSD changed their start day and due to the confusion with transportation we had to change as well. An updated school calendar will be sent home with your student on the first day of school.
